The otherworldly quality created from the reflection of images forces the viewers to shape their individual perception of items and places they come across on a daily basis. As the spaces are broken down into an entanglement of colors and shapes they become patterns of experiences.

While experimentation is fundamental to my contemporary art, female portrait retains for me a persistent attraction. These photo portraits, which belong to a series of paintings and photos taken during my trips around the world, search for an emotional connection. Because I so easily identify with the sitters, I am drawn to the need to express mine as well as the sitters’ feelings and emotions through the richness of their expression. My voice mediates my internal needs and external demands along a line between idealization and realism.
